Large and small bays and every kind of structure make it one of the best fishing and recreation lakes around. Fishing
Lake Vermilion is legendary among anglers. Fish for Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, and the elusive Muskie. With countless bays, reefs, and weed beds, there's always a new spot to try.
Boating
Explore forty miles of open water, hidden coves, and island-dotted channels. Launch your own boat or rent one of ours right at the resort.
Swimming
Cool off in Vermilion's clean, clear waters. Perfect for kids and the young at heart.
Water Sports
Water-skiing, tubing, and wake sports — the lake's big open stretches are made for it.
Hunting
In season, the surrounding Superior National Forest area offers excellent hunting opportunities. Ask us about the area.
